Foreign sounding to you if you’re reading this from some non-chinese country part of this world. But anyway, it’s signifying the New Year, for Chinese, obviously.

Anyway! Chinese New Year this year was exceptionally boring. Can’t believe I spent my first day at home today. CANNOT BELIEVE. Anyway I hope tomorrow will be a better day. Need more ideas to generate more money to fund my Korea trip. Other than collecting more angbao and like trying to gambling with blackjack. So  I actually mean like really trying to find a part time job so that I have enough to use for my life till I get to Korea and when I’m really there.

Yes, been receiving compliments about how I’ve been gaining fat. Thank you everyone. But I think I’m way past caring about whether I look fat or not, I just think whether I am healthy or not is the key. (Obviously I’m now fat and healthy).

So anyway, blog soon! Happy new year once again!

Back to the topic! Broke my chair and yes, I sincerely count this as a horrible blunder. And I think I wasn’t too smart either, to put this blunder on facebook. BAH.

Check out that amount of “Likes”!! I want to faint, really. What a big blunder to make it public. The uber power of social media; to never underestimate it’s power. I went for Mumbo Run this morning, and guess what? The first few things people asked me was… “Hey how’s your chair already? HAHAHAHA”. Oh dear god. I didn’t know whether I wanted to punch them or punch myself. Damn.

But really, it was quite funny.

Just kena shot by alumni stuff, again. Don’t know why I’m so susceptible to things like that but, well let it pass…….

Went for my first peer’s 21st party. Well, it wasn’t bad but at least I got to meet friends whom I haven’t seen in a long time!

Have been working all the while and now I’m so tired, I don’t know what else to type. Okay till I have something to rant/mention about. bye!

Took a chance for everything I did, at least I tried to think that I gave it a chance and if anything didn’t work out, I don’t have to blame myself for it.

Started the year with being skinny, or rather, less fat as compared to now. School was still okay in Spring. Things were still manageable back then. Growing strong with M1 friends, with the circle rapidly expanding within.

Second month of the year was a wonderful time. Taylor Swift rocked my whole world (maybe people dislike her but I love her)! Valentines’ Day was lonely but it was better that way, just too bad for the guy who gave me up.

March was marchytastic. Bought my MacBook Pro. Loving it since then. Been hogging on to it since I purchased it. Then getting obsessed with macbook accessories. Fat wallet is a must for Apple product owners (but unfortunately my wallet isn’t fat). Little Joy finally said Hi to the world this year. This little cute girl has been growing up safely, and hoping that it will continue all the way for her.

April. Meeting more and more friends. Connections getting weirder. Seems like it’s just part and parcel of life. More dimsum sessions with the lovely people. Weight gaining project seemed to have kickstarted from there.

Still spending my Labour Day(s) in Pulau Ubin, for the 4th year running, thanks to ODAC camps. Changi Village Food Centre’s hokkien mee is forever yums. Back to more clubbing and more birthday parties to attend, naturally, becoming less rich. (Sigh, life.)

June was spent attending endless f18sta meeting, handling different level of saigang, facing a stupid woman in meeting every time. Handling tuition kid, where pails are really needed to either contain my bloodpuke or to knock the kid’s head.

July rolled out excitement. Trekking the old KTM rails and meeting weird things along the way. Somethings are just unforgettable that way. More and more clubbing sessions, better drinking threshold, but less anger management. Less understanding for people who make mistakes, grave mistakes. Started museum-jumping and continuing Sakae Sushi buffets. Life is fattening.

Red-headed in August. Loved the colour so much, I did a re-dye a month later. Lion King Musical was awesome, but the parking fees in MBS was not a joke. More drinking, more sushi, more singing. (Wherever the hell did I actually get that amount of money anyway?) More birthdays. My birthday, the Big 2. Well, not really big. But really glad for two lovely friends who spent the day with me in USS, love is beyond description. Had at least 3 rounds of birthday celebrations, love everyone for it.

Moving like Jagger in September. Drunken night after trays of sour plum shots. I will never forget this in my entire life, never. Yellow Ribbon Prison Run. Expectedly, even more birthday celebrations. Forming more weird links in my life.

October. Nike 10K Run. Antoinette was awesome for birthday celebration with the huge Hello Kitty helium balloon. Chunkfest was a disappointment, nothing much better than last year’s. By then, Fall semester has been strangling me with disgusting facts about Mesopotamia, Rome and the Aztecs. Thinking back, it’s just gross. Halloween was one of the best I’ve ever had, beyond words. Started with Mumbo for the first year, weekly meetings took up sundays of my weeks.

More Mumbo meetings, more photos. Family gatherings, precious photos. D-day for f18sta, success or not, but we all knew we did our best for it. f18sta thanksgiving, treats, laughter. Mickey Mouse walking, crab making. What a busy November.

December. Decided to no longer go Back to December anymore, don’t seem like there’s any point in doing that anymore. OLIP was mad, keeping awake was mad. Kaili’s baby shower, the tiniest baby I’ve seen. Camp Mumbo finally! Mixed feelings. Mock Christmas countdown, actual Mumbo Christmas countdown, mock New Year’s Day countdown. Johor trip! Potlucking and consecutive shots. Endless fun and laughter, dried saliva.

I must say that 2011 has been good to me, even though it really wasn’t a good year for everyone else on Earth. Too many natural disasters that are heartbreaking and unprecedented events of geniuses dying. But I’m trying to keep the optimistic view that things will get better, and much hoping that it wouldn’t be true for the world to end next year. Graduation due next year, I want to work and enjoy the high life before I die; else of all these nonsense that I’m studying will not be worth, at all. Not in need for relationships, sometimes staying this way is the way to enjoy more in life. Till the one that feels more right comes along then. Really I don’t bear high hopes for 2012 but I surely hope it’ll treat me well, just let me have my way at times when I need to. I don’t need next year to be extremely well, smooth sailing isn’t all that is good. Thank you 2011 for the awesomeness you brought to my life, and let 2012 continue this tradition. <3

So yes, updating this space again, at weird timing. Just got home from sending my friend home and almost got into a car accident. No one else shall know about this.

Half falling asleep and full time hating the blasting glare of light from my phone. The lowest brightness is just this glaring. Damn.

Life has been alright. Not a breeze. Screwed up my Fall semester quite badly. Need to work harder for the latin honors again. #forevertrying but have to try harder before its time to graduate in 2 semesters.

But oh well. Shall update this place with the year end post on 31st. Haven’t started any drafting yet, oh my my.

For that term paper that I haven’t started, I hope I get a blast of inspiration like how I did for the philosophy essay. Yea, now that sounds like a plan!

Everyone’s ignoring my bbm and whatsapp and no one’s talking to me on twitter. Emo life. I’m a social animal, I really am. I die without socialising but that doesn’t mean I’m loaded with good naise friends everywhere.

Some people are really, fake, you know?

But anyway, mumbo meeting later. I really love those people yknow. I really love them and how much I hoped the other team mate wasn’t transferred out to the other group.

Not supposed to be mulling over this over and over again for the past year and guess what? I’ve survived the breakup for a year, and almost ready to accept someone else in my life. Damn, one year taken to mull over you? Were you really worth that much?

Couldn’t have been blind but I just hope someone new coming along isn’t like you. Because everything you did was just as nice to everything you never did and still they were so sweet. I bet you never knew how horrible that feels.

And where I’m standing is where you allegedly broke my heart, left me crying like a baby in public. Yes, bet you didn’t know you had those power.
